The software package „MS External Database Control I/O” allows to switch an application using digital signals. With the „MS Gateway” option, the fieldbus signals can be used. It is possible to assign a maximum of 255 applications to the signals. After the applications have been set up on the MS sonxTOP machine, they can be assigned to the signals using a simple teach-in procedure.
