About 30 participants from different companies from the surrounding area visited us for a plant tour. Our team consisting of AWT and sales gave the visitors exciting insights into the world of ultrasound. Not only the different machines, which cover all dimensions from „simple” table-top units to inline-integratable universal series systems and highly automated special machines, made a great impression. Details such as 3D laser testing of the function of the sonotrodes – crucial for the success of the welding process – were also demonstrated, thus clearly showing how much know-how is involved in the design of the sonotrodes alone.
At the end, each participant was able to weld his own drinking bottle and many interesting discussions were held over a small snack. It was an all-round successful event.
